We've observed site admins often look for an option to edit/customize the URL for the upcoming event or the giving campaign to match their branding/marketing needs. This feature enables the admins to edit/customize the URL in two simple steps.
Note: The steps to edit the URL for Forms, Giving, Events, and Directories are the same 👇
Step 1: Click on the gear icon and select Edit URL
Step 2: Add the URL of your choice on the Edit URL field and hit Save Changes. 👍
📝 Points to remember
This only changes the slug or the last section of the URL.
Meaning if your Form URL is "https://alumni.myschool.org/f/my_form_name." This option will only allow you to change "my_form_name" to anything you want.
The entire URL cannot be changed as those are system-generated.
You cannot add spaces to your custom URL.
Underscore and Hyphens are the only special characters allowed.
If the system throws an error while changing the URL, then it would mean that the slug is already in use.
