Almabase sends notification emails like test emails, form submissions, event registrations, and file exports. You will also receive an email with a single-use code when you need to verify your identity for login.

If you're not receiving Almabase notification emails, follow the troubleshooting steps below to confirm that your Almabase notifications, email inbox, and allowlisting settings are correct.

Check your email inbox settings

Based on the email client you're using, you may need to update certain settings to ensure emails from Almabase aren't getting filtered out of your inbox.

If you're expecting to receive a notification or OTP verification email from Almabase and you don't see it in your inbox, check the spam or junk folders to see if your email provider filtered them out of your primary inbox.

If you're using Microsoft Outlook, you can follow the steps below to confirm that Almabase emails are not being quarantined or to ensure that they're being sent to your Focused Inbox if you've enabled it.

Release quarantined Almabase emails in your Outlook inbox or Office 365 account

Office 365 and Outlook may quarantine Almabase notification emails automatically. To fix this issue, check your quarantined messages and release any Almabase emails from quarantine. Navigate to the Quarantine section in your Office 365 Security and Compliance Center, then follow these instructions to move any Almabase emails back to your inbox.

Move Almabase emails into your Focused Inbox in Microsoft Outlook

If you've enabled Focused Inbox for Microsoft Outlook, it's possible that Outlook may be filtering out emails from Almabase. To fix this issue, you can follow these steps in Microsoft's documentation.

Set up allowlisting

If your email client isn't filtering Almabase emails, then you may need to work with your IT team to update your allowlist or add Almabase as a "safe sender." If you're using a free email provider such as Gmail, you can find allowlisting instructions in their help documentation.

Allowlist Almabase email addresses

The following is a complete list of email addresses Almabase uses for internal email notifications:

Also, add accounts@[your Almabase email processing domain]

Please reach out to help@almabase.com to get your email processing domain.

For e.g., If your Almabase platform is hosted on subdomain.example.org and the email processing domain is subdomain.example.org, then the sender accounts@subdomain.example.org must be added to the allowlist.

Allowlist Almabase IP addresses

Add the following email sending IP addresses to your network-level allowlist to ensure that all of Almabase's in-app communications get delivered by your company's server.

50.31.38.253, 149.72.197.36, 149.72.61.6, 149.72.244.64, 149.72.24.152, 167.89.90.109

Reach out to help@almabase.com in case none of this works out.
