1. Why do I see only some guests as synced?

    • The guests that are unmapped or among the mapped ones, those that do not have a System Record ID, will not be synced to Raiser's Edge.

    • To sync these guests turn the toggle "Sync the non-constituent accompanying guests" ON.

  2. Is there a way for me to reset the entire sync and start over?

    • There is an option to reset the sync. Click on View Sync Status > Remove Guests

    • This will remove all the guests you synced to Raiser's Edge.

    • Note: Events and tickets will be intact only the guests will be removed along with their purchase and payment details.

  3. I want to push only the gift amount to Raiser's edge. The ticket payments are not relevant to be added to Raiser's Edge.

    • Choose the option "Only gifts (via gift tickets) are pushed" in the Sync configuration.

    • This will push only the donations to Raiser's Edge along with other event details

      • Event Data —

        • Event Name and Date

        • Ticket Name and Amount

      • Participant Data —

        • RSVP, and Registration date

        • Number of tickets purchased (even the tickets purchased for the accompanying guest)

        • Check-in status

  4. A lot of the unmapped guests are mostly non-constituents but I want to sync them over to Raiser's Edge.

    • To sync these guests turn the toggle "Sync non-constituent accompanying guests" ON.

  5. Do I have to sync every time I change something on the event or when someone registers?

    • Yes, you have to sync for the changes to get reflected on Raiser's edge. But you do not need to do them immediately.

    • Whenever you sync, any new updates made on the event will be pushed to Raiser's Edge.

  6. When will the check-in status be synced?

    • After the event is over, and you marked all those who attended as "Checked-in" on Almabase, sync over the event again.

    • The checked-in status will be pushed to Raiser's Edge and the guests will be marked as "Attended".

  7. The sync configuration I selected was incorrect. I have already synced the guests. What can I do to change it?

    • There is an option to reset the sync. Click on View Sync Status > Remove Guests

    • This will remove all the guests you synced to Raiser's Edge.

    • Note: Events and tickets will be intact only the guests will be removed along with their purchase and payment details.

    • Once the guests are removed you can change the configuration and sync the event again.

  8. One of the guests I synced had an incorrect System Record ID, and now a constituent who is not attending the event is added as a participant. What can I do to change it?

    • Update the record with the correct System Record ID

    • Look up the guest under the Guest Manager and click on Sync.

    • This will remove the guest and resync to the correct constituent.
