Keeping track of gift imports is crucial for maintaining accurate fundraising records. Here's how you can check the import status and manage related settings in Almabase:

Checking Import Status

  1. Go to the 'Gift Import' tab.

  2. Review the information about each gift import session.

  3. Refer to icons indicating different statuses (as shown in the screenshot provided in the guide).

Fixing Errors and Editing Sync Criteria

  1. Open the configuration you want to check.

  2. Utilize the options available to re-configure the gift import session.

Options for Managing Gift Import:

  1. Edit Sync Criteria: Modify criteria like frequency of pull, campaigns, appeals, or giving page names.

  2. Select the Gift Type: Choose between successfully pulled gifts and gifts with errors using the dropdown.

Understanding Gift Status:

  1. Successful Gifts: Offers details like donor's name, gifted amount, gift date, and option to edit gift details.

  2. Gifts with Error: Shows error details and provides information on resolving issues.

Additional Notes:

  • For scheduled gift pulls, use the 'Pause sync' option if you need to temporarily stop pulling gifts.

  • When using gift import for offline gifts from Raiser's Edge, avoid manually adding them to your campaign to prevent duplicates.
