As you continue to host events, your admin-side event listing can quickly fill up with past events or test events created during setup. Over time, this makes it harder to find and focus on the events that actually matter.

That’s where Archiving comes in — a simple way to declutter your event dashboard without losing any data.

What is Archiving?

Archiving allows you to remove events from your main event list without permanently deleting them. It helps you keep your admin view clean while preserving important event history.

When you archive an event:

  • It is removed from the main event list on the admin side

  • It remains visible to attendees on the public site if it's a published event

  • It is still accessible under the “Archived” tab and can be unarchived anytime

  • You can still duplicate the event for future use

Why Archive an Event?

If completed or test events aren’t archived, they continue to crowd your admin dashboard. This can lead to a cluttered experience, especially as your list of events grows.

Archiving helps you:

  • Focus only on upcoming or active events

  • Avoid accidentally editing or referencing outdated events

  • Retain full access to archived events for duplication, reporting, or reference

In short: Archiving is the best way to keep your event list clean and focused — without losing access to anything important.

How to Archive Events

📁 Archive a Single Event

  1. Go to the Events dashboard

  2. Hover over the event you want to archive

  3. Click the Actions dropdown next to the event name

  4. Select Archive

📦 Archive Multiple Events in Bulk

  1. On the Events dashboard, select the checkboxes beside the events you want to archive

  2. Click the Archive button on the top-right

The selected events will instantly move to the Archived tab and be hidden from the user-facing listing.

That’s it! A cleaner, more organized Events list is just a click away.
