Admins can sync invited guests from Almabase to Raiser's Edge, ensuring all event invitations are accurately recorded.

When you send event invitations via the Event's Invitees tab, these invitees are categorized as "Invitation Sent". This information can be pushed to Raiser's Edge so that invited guests appear in the event records.

How to Sync Invited Guests

1. Configure Sync Settings

Enable Globally for All Events:

  1. Go to Tools > Events > Sync Configuration & Connectors.

  2. Under Guest Configuration, check the box for "Sync Invited Guests who have not registered."

  3. Save the settings.

Enable for a Specific Event:

  1. Navigate to the event's Guest Configuration under Sync Settings.

  2. Check the box for "Sync Invited Guests who have not registered".

  3. Save changes.

2. Sync the Event to Raiser's Edge

  1. Open the Guest Dashboard apply filter on the event or invite status as "Invited".

  2. Click Sync to push the data to Raiser's Edge.

  3. Once synced, invited guests will appear in Raiser's Edge with an "Invited" status.

  1. I have an event that is already synced. Can I enable this setting and sync invited guests retroactively?

    • Yes. Go to the Guest Configuration settings for that event and check "Sync invited guests who have not registered". Then, sync the event again to push invited guest data to Raiser's Edge.

  2. If an invited guest who was synced to Raiser's Edge later registers for the event, do they need to be synced again to update their status?

    • Yes. You need to sync the event again to update their status from "Invited" to "Attending" and to push RSVP details, ticket purchases, and payments to Raiser's Edge.

  3. Do I need to sync again if any changes are made to event data on Almabase

    • Yes. Any updates made to the event, including registrations, ticket purchases, and payments, must be synced again to Raiser's Edge for the changes to reflect.
