Creating an Email Group Using a Raiser's Edge List ID

Learn more about forming an email group with specific records from Raiser's Edge without listing them in the Almabase user directory.

Step 1: Access Sync Rules

  1. Navigate to "Settings" in the admin navigation.

  2. Go to "Database"

  3. Click on "Sync Data".

Step 2: Initiate Data Pull

On the Sync Data page, select "Pull data into Almabase" to start the process.

Step 3: Create Email List

  1. Choose the "Create Email list" option.

  2. Proceed by clicking "Next".

Step 4: Select List and Pull Data

  1. Pick the list you created on Raiser's Edge and assign an internal name to it.

  2. Confirm all the profile fields you intend to import into the system.

  3. After selection, click on "Pull Data into Almabase" to begin the data transfer.

Upon completion, an email list bearing the specified name will be available in the Communication center, ready for sending bulk emails.
