Understanding Guest Sync Status and Payment Sync Status

Guest Sync Status and Payment Sync Status are key indicators in the Event Guest Dashboard to help you track event participation and payment synchronization. While they are seem interconnected, each status serves a unique purpose:

Guest Sync Status

Payment Sync Status

Tracks if the guest's RSVP data is synced to Raiser's Edge (RE).

Tracks if the guest's payment information has been converted into a gift and synced to RE.

Guest Dashboard: Indicators and Options

The table in Guest Dashboard displays Guest Sync Status and Payment Sync Status related details for each guest.

Guest Sync Status

  • The RSVP status is not syncable to RE

  • The RSVP status is not synced

  • The RSVP status is synced

Payment Sync Status

Gift Dashboard

The Gift Dashboard focuses on tracking and managing payments of the gifts. It includes the following sections:

  • New Gifts: Payments that haven’t been added to a batch on RE yet.

  • Gifts Awaiting Approval: Gifts added to a batch but pending approval or mapping in RE.

  • Approved Gifts: Payments approved in RE and mapped to gifts on Almabase.

The Gift Dashboard provides a centralized view of payment-to-gift conversion statuses, ensuring that all payments are accurately accounted for and synced to RE.
