How to Organize/Customize your Event Booking Page

Use the Customize page tab to drag-and-drop the order of sub-events, tickets, and gifts on your booking page, group items under a specific sub-event, and preview the page before sharing the event link.

Written by Sarita Markande

Your event booking page is where guests pick what to register for, what tickets to buy, and what to give. The order of sub-events, tickets, and gifts on that page shapes how guests experience the event — what they notice first, how easy it is for them to find what they're looking for, and how related items get presented together.

The Customize page tab in your event admin gives you control over that order. You can drag and drop sub-events, tickets, and gifts into any sequence, group standalone tickets and gifts under a specific sub-event so related items show up together, and preview the public booking page before you share the event link.

How it works

  • Open your event in the admin. Across the top, you'll see the Customize page tab. Click it.

  • Inside, expand the Reorder booking page section. You'll see a card titled Customize your booking page layout.

Reordering items

  1. The reorder screen shows your event's contents grouped into sections:

    • SUB EVENTS — all sub-events on this event

    • OTHER TICKETS — tickets that aren't attached to a sub-event

    • WOULD YOU LIKE TO ADD A GIFT? — gifts available on the booking page

A section only appears if it has relevant content.

Example:- If all your tickets are already attached to sub-events, the OTHER TICKETS section won't show.

2. You have two ways to change the order:

  • Drag and drop — Use the drag handle next to a section or item to drag it into a new position.

  • The ⋮ (kebab) menu — Click the three-dot icon next to any sub-event, ticket, or gift to open these options:

    • Move to top

    • Move to position — type the exact position number you want

    • Move to bottom

    • Manage ticket order — opens the ticket-level order for that sub-event

Order of tickets and gift tickets under a sub-event

  • If you want to show a ticket or a gift ticket under a specific sub-event, you can nest it under that sub-event so they appear together on the booking page.

  • Click the ⋮ menu on the ticket and choose Pair with a sub-event pick the sub-event to group it under. The item moves under that sub-event in the layout.

  • To move it back out, follow the same steps to unpair.

Previewing the booking page

Click the Preview booking page in the top-right of the reorder screen. This opens the booking page exactly as your guests will see it, with the latest saved order and grouping applied.

Use the preview as a final check before sharing the event link.

A concrete example

Say you're running an alumni reunion event with three sub-events:

  1. a Campus Tour,

  2. a Leadership Institute, and

  3. a Black-tie Gala.

You also have a Parking Pass as a standalone ticket and a Class Gift available for donation.

You want guests to see the gala first (it's the headline), then the institute, then the tour. You also want the parking pass to sit under the Gala, since most Gala guests will want it. And you want the class gift at the very bottom.

Open Customize page → Reorder booking page.

  • Drag the Gala to the top of the SUB EVENTS section.

  • Position the institute and the tour beneath it.

  • Click the ⋮ menu on the parking pass and choose Black-tie Gala as the sub-event to group it under — the parking pass nests under the gala.

  • Click the ⋮ menu on the class gift and pick Move to the bottom.

  • Click the Preview booking page to confirm the layout, then click Save changes.

What this is not

Reordering changes how items are displayed on the booking page. It does not change ticket pricing, availability, sub-event dates, or how registrations are processed or synced to your CRM.

FAQs

I reordered my booking page, but the public page hasn't changed. What happened?

Make sure you clicked Save changes at the bottom of the reorder screen. The order does not go live until you save. After saving, refresh the public booking page to see the update.

I dragged a ticket into a new spot inside a sub-event, but the order keeps going back to alphabetical. Why?

The sub-event's Ticket ordering is set to Name (A to Z) or Name (Z to A), which sorts alphabetically and overrides custom drag positions. Edit the sub-event, set Ticket ordering to Custom order, save it, and your drag order will take effect.<screenshot>

I grouped a ticket under a sub-event, and now I can't find it in the OTHER TICKETS section. Where did it go?

It's nested under the sub-event you picked. To move it back, open its ⋮ menu and ungroup it, or drag it where you want.

Does reordering affect ticket pricing, availability, or guest registrations?

No. Reordering is purely about how items are displayed on the booking page.

Can I see what guests will see without leaving the admin?

Yes. Click the Preview booking page in the top-right of the reorder screen. It shows the booking page exactly as guests see it, using your latest saved order.

What does Reset to default do?

It restores the default chronological ordering on the reorder screen. If you've already saved a custom order, Reset to default is the way to start over from scratch.

One of the sections (OTHER TICKETS) isn't showing on my reorder screen. Why?

A section only appears if there's content to show. If all your tickets are already attached to sub-events, there are no standalone tickets, and the OTHER TICKETS section is hidden.

I undid a change but then realized I wanted to keep it. Can I redo?

Undo last action reverses your most recent change only. To bring back something you've undone, re-drag the item or use the ⋮ menu to set its position again.

What's the difference between reordering a sub-event and changing its dates?

Reordering controls where the sub-event appears on the booking page. Changing its date controls when the sub-event actually happens. The two are independent — moving a sub-event to the top of the page does not change its date.

Who can use the Customize page tab?

Anyone with event admin access on that event.
