How to Obtain API Login ID, Client ID & Transaction Key for Authorize.net Checkout Setup
Instructions on obtaining API Login & Client ID, generating Transaction key to set up authorize.net on Almabase.

To set up Authorize.net Merchant Account on Almabase, we will require four unique keys

  • API Login ID

  • Transaction Key

  • Client ID

Understand how to obtain the above keys with three simple steps. πŸ˜„

Step 1:

To obtain the above keys, go to "Account" and click on "API Credentials & Keys" under Security Settings.

On the page that follows, you will find your API Login ID πŸ‘‡

Copy/Save this API Login ID for the next steps. πŸ‘

Step 2:

On the same page under create new key(s), you will find options to generate your new transaction key.

Select obtain new transaction and hit on submit. Now, you'll be requested to verify your identity using a pin. Validate this.

πŸ“ Check "disable old transaction" only if it's not being used elsewhere.

Step 3:

Once you complete the validation, you will be redirected to a screen that displays the current signature key. Save/Copy this key to your clipboard.

Step 4:

To obtain the "Client ID," go to "Account" and click on "Manage Public Client Key" under Security Settings.

Step 5:

On the following page, you will find your "Client ID." Copy/Save the ID for the next steps.

πŸ“ If you do not find your Client ID (as marked above), then answer the security question and it will be generated.

Step 6:

After you've saved/copied the API Login ID, Client ID, and Transaction keys, follow the steps mentioned β†’ Set up an Authorize.Net Checkout payment account to integrate Authorize.net Checkout with Almabase.
