Create a directory that's easily accessible

Use the following tactics:

  1. Display the directory URL prominently on your website's homepage.

  2. Create a page with the directory widget and link it across the site for easy access.

  3. Embed the directory on your school's main website using the embed code.

Encourage content sharing by enabling users to share content

  1. Go to the 'Privacy Settings'.

  2. Look under 'Allow sharing'.

  3. Click Yes.

Note: the share option varies based on the device and operating system, providing familiar sharing methods to the user.

Enhance the visual appeal of the listing page

One way is to add a default cover image by going to the 'Other settings'.

Review your Content before publishing

Use the Publish Criteria to help control which entries can go into the directory.

Set up Verifications for Private Content

This restricts access to specific user groups, like alumni, who must verify their email for validation.

Contact for assistance with Verifications.

Monitor and analyze user engagement

Once the directory gains traction, track engagement activities under the 'Reports' tab.

For deeper insights, use the 'Engagement Studio'. You can view user interactions and create filters for regular engagement reports.

Additionally, identify disengaged users and reach out to understand their content preferences.
