Yearbooks play a crucial role in connecting alumni with their alma mater, serving as a nostalgic link to the past.
Almabase allows the creation of Yearbook Directories using the Directories module, enhancing the alumni experience.
Step 1: Start Creating the Yearbook Directory
Go to "Tools" > "Directories" from the admin panel.
Step 2: Select the Yearbook Template
Select the "+" sign to create a new Directory.
Choose "Yearbook" from the dropdown options.
Step 3: Configure Display Settings
In the Display Settings, select the form fields you want to display in the yearbook.
Set up additional details as required under Display Settings.
Step 4: Add the Yearbook Directory to Navigation Menu on the Homepage
Navigate to "Edit Main Menu & Footer" in the admin panel.
Choose the header under which you want to add the yearbook.
Click "[+Add sublink]" under the selected header.
Step 5: Set the Yearbook Directory Link
In the "Name" field, enter a desired name (e.g., 'Yearbook').
Enter the URL of the Yearbook Directory you created.
Click "Save Changes".
Step 6: Confirm Changes
Click "Save Changes" in the bottom-right corner to ensure the update is applied to the main page.
