There are two kinds of the leaderboard -
1. Custom Leaderboard - Based on any parameter on the payment forms of the campaign
2. Location-Based Leaderboard - Based on City, State, or Country as entered by the donor
Custom Leaderboard
Step 1. Set up a form with the necessary fields
Once you have decided on the parameters based on which you want the leaderboards created, add those fields to the prepayment or the post-payment forms.
๐ Only single select fields, like dropdowns, and radio button-type fields can be chosen to create a leaderboard.
For example, we have created two forms
1. Giving Day Pre-Payment Form: Added a radio button field called "Affiliation"
2. Giving Day Post payment form: Added a dropdown field called "Class year"
and linked them to the campaign.
Step 2. Add a Custom Leaderboard
Under Page Settings of the campaign, you will see the option to add Leaderboards
Enter Title and select the field you added to the form, under Group by.
NOTE: The leaderboard, groups the data based on the field you selected and orders them in two ways - Most Generous and Highest Participation.
โYou can choose to keep either one of them or both.
Once you publish, it will be visible on the campaign landing page.

NOTE: Class year based leaderboard can be set up in a way where you show these class years grouped together, like decade-wise.

Location-based Leaderboard
Under the Group by field you will see the options City, State, and Country.
The location information is captured for every donor in the prepayment form.
So we have added these as a pre-given option for you to create a leaderboard.

Other Important pointers:
The Reach & Generosity leaderboard will be added to the campaign page settings by default as soon as the campaign is created. It can be renamed and unpublished if needed.
You can reorder the leaderboards on the campaign page according to your preference by dragging the three horizontal lines.
Challenges and leaderboards will appear once the campaign goes live. Challenges and leaderboards can be previewed by clicking on the Preview Landing Page option.
You can choose what information needs to be displayed in the Generosity tab of the leaderboard. The 3 different options are Donor names and gift amounts, Donor names only, or Tributes.
