The steps are the same for Forms, Events, Giving Campaigns and Directory.
Step 1: Access the Settings Page
Start by going to the specific feature where you want to change the URL. This could be a 'Form', 'Event Page', 'Giving Campaign', or 'Directory'.
Look for the 'Settings' or 'Configuration' area within this feature.
Find the gear icon next to the feature's name, which is often labeled as 'Form name', 'Event name', etc.
Select 'Edit URL' from the options that appear.
Step 2: Edit the URL
In the 'Edit URL' section, you will see a field to enter the new URL.
Remember, you can only change the last part of the URL, also known as the slug. The main website address remains the same.
For example, if your URL is "https://alumni.myschool.org/f/my_form_name", you can only modify 'my_form_name'.
Use only underscores (_) or hyphens (-) for special characters. Avoid using spaces.
After entering the new URL, click on 'Save Changes'.
Ensure your new URL is unique. If it's already in use, the system will notify you with an error message.
