Understand the level of access each admin permission offers

Different Levels of Admin Permissions

Site Admin: Full permission for all site features. No areas of the admin side are restricted to the Site Admins, and all aspects of the Admin Panel are available.

Site admins can grant permissions to other users as well.

πŸ“ Note: No other permissions have full access to the Data Studio.

The Site Admin permission is required to sync constituents and to manage the Data Inbox.


Event Admin: Manages events, including creating and editing events and managing attendees.

This includes:

  • Creating and managing Events

  • Duplicating existing Events

  • Access to the Guest Dashboard

  • Editing guest registrations

  • Mapping registrations to records

  • Creating and managing Event Forms

  • Setting up Guest Communication for Events

  • Event Sync and Exports

  • Setting up Form Connectors within Events


Events Volunteer: Manages the Check-in Kiosk to sign in guests for events and sub-events. Event volunteers cannot access the items listed above for Event Admins. Access is only restricted to managing the Check-In Kiosk.


Giving Admin: Manages fundraising campaigns, donor details, and associated forms.

  • They can create, manage, publish, sync, delete, and reorder Giving Pages, search and filter them, update all page settings, and clear gifts from a page.

  • They can view, add, edit, delete, filter, search, and export gifts and recurring gifts; manage Gift Aid, gift connections, Gift Dashboard columns, Gift Lists (including segments), and perform list actions like sync, unsync, reset, validate, and fix errors.

  • They can also manage gift mappings and imports, as well as handle funds, forms, and communication by sending emails, managing email groups, and accessing dashboards and reports.


Giving Communication Admin: Manage email and communication for giving pages.

  • They can edit, send, and resend "Thank You" emails.


Giving Page Setting Admin: Manage settings for all giving pages.

  • They can view and update everything on the settings page of a giving page, while other tabs will be hidden.

  • They cannot manage "Thank You" emails, accept gifts, or publish the giving page.


Gift Database Admin: Manage gifts and gift databases for all giving pages.

  • They can map/unmap, create gift lists, create gift segments, add gift connections, export gifts, import gifts, and sync gifts.


Gift Manager: Manage adding, editing, and deleting of gifts.

  • They can map/unmap gifts.


Communication Admin: Full access to the communication center, including sending bulk emails, creating email groups, and managing email analytics.

This includes:

  • Sending Bulk Emails

  • Access to Email Reports and Analytics

  • Creating and managing Email Groups { Communication admins can create email groups in two ways: Excel Sheet Upload and Defining Segments from the Directory}

  • Customizing Email Templates

  • Create and manage Email Categories


Content Admin: Manage content across the platform, within pages.

This includes:

  • Building and managing Pages


Engagement Admin: Logs custom engagement activities. Access to Engagement Studio.


Export, analyze, and take action on engagement data like event registration, email opens, page views, etc. for all records.

​User Admin: User admins have the ability to approve/block access of users.


The user admin permission limits the admin to only approving/blocking users' access; they cannot approve/reject Verification Requests or access the Data Studio.
