How to Resend 'Thank You' Email in a Giving Campaign

Instructions on how to resend a thank you/gift confirmation email to a donor

One of your generous donors reached out to you to tell you that they did not receive a gift confirmation email. Don’t worry, this article will show you how you can resend the ‘Thank You’ or Gift Confirmation email to them.

To get started, you will want to navigate to your Giving Page and click over to the Gifts tab.

You will see a list of all of the donors here. Click on the one you want to resend the email to using View Details.

Scroll down on the slide-out menu until you see the Donor Details section. There will be a 'Resend Thank You Email' button. Click on this and the ‘Thank You’ email will be re-sent to this donor.

Additional Tips

  • If you make changes to the system-wide ‘Thank You’ email template, then these will not be reflected in the ‘Thank You’ emails, provided that these changes took place after the creation of the Giving campaign. Any new campaigns made after the changes to the System Email Template of the ‘Thank You’ Email will reflect these changes.

  • If you want to make changes to the ‘Thank You’ email template for your current campaign, you will want to make those changes within the ‘Thank You’ email section (in Other Settings) of the campaign. Once changes are made, follow the above steps to resend the ‘Thank You’ email with the new content.
