To add a sub-event without a ticket or an agenda to your event's schedule that doesn't require an RSVP — Add an itinerary item.
What is an Itinerary Item?
An itinerary item is a sub-event without a ticket. Itinerary items are the perfect solution for adding agendas like a “Closing Ceremony” or “Welcome Address” to your event schedule.
Unlike sub-events, they don’t require tickets, making them ideal for items that don’t involve RSVPs or ticket purchases.
Note: Another key difference is — they are not synced to Raiser's Edge
How to Add an Itinerary Item?
Setting it up is similar to sub-events—you provide a name, time, description, and venue. Follow these steps to add an itinerary item:
Navigate to the Sub-Events & Schedule section on the event dashboard.
Click “Add item to itinerary.”
Fill in the details:
Name: Enter the name of the agenda item.
Description: Optionally, provide more context.
Date & Time: Set the schedule for this item.
Venue: Add the location if applicable.
Use the Visibility settings to configure who sees this:
Show publicly on the schedule and personal itinerary.
Show based on affiliation on personal itinerary.
Show based on custom criteria (using dropdown questions from the guest form).
Click Save Changes. You are all done!
