Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Access the Events Connector
Navigate to Tools > Events from the main menu.
Go to the Sync Configuration and Connectors tab.
Scroll down to the Setup event connectors section to view global settings.
You can also configure these settings at an individual event level under Connections.
Step 2: Understand the Connector Configuration
The connector focuses on five key fields: Name, Email, Phone, Affiliation, and Address.
Configuration involves:
Field Mapping: Align form fields with constituent profile fields (some mappings are fixed).
Sync Rules: Define how and when data should update profiles. The default setting is "Review before updating".
Step 3: Manage Pending Data Changes
Rules set to "Ignore" or "Automatically Update" are processed immediately.
For data requiring review, navigate to the Guest Dashboard and click on the notification Pending Constituent changes to access the data to be reviewed.

Filter updates by event to prioritize.
Select updates in bulk and click Approve Changes to apply them.
