How Are Automated Emails Different from Bulk Emails?

Automated Emails are automatic notifications based on actions that you do, while Bulk Emails are emails that you draft & send to alumni

Automated emails get automatically generated and sent out by the platform when 

  1. The user performs specific actions
    For example, donating to a fundraiser, registering for an event, filling out a form, etc.  

  2. On certain occasions
    For example, Birthdays and Anniversaries.

You can tweak these templates from the System emails setup on the admin panel.

NOTE: While you can adjust the text, layout, and colors on these templates,
please do not edit the content within the double braces {{content}} (merge tags). These are dynamic values that get pulled into these emails and should not be edited.

Bulk emails are emails that are drafted and sent out by you (administrators).
You can create and customize these from Compose Email or Email Templates.
