What are system emails?

System emails are the automated emails sent from the platform automatically based on specific user actions like -

  • When someone signs up on the platform and awaits approval, the user will receive an "Awaiting approval" email and the admin will receive "Awaiting approval". <screenshot>

  • When someone registers for an event, the guest receives a registration confirmation email, and the admin receives a notification of the registration. <screenshot>

Here's a complete list of automated emails sent to users and a list of automated emails sent to admins, along with the details of when they are triggered. <links>

The email templates can be accessed from the admin panel. Head to Settings > System emails.

These email templates can be edited, but note that you should not alter the placeholder text within double braces {{ }} or dotted boxes, which are auto-filled by the system.

Note: If you do not see some system emails on your site, contact us through the Intercom Chat Bubble💬 to have them added.

How are system emails and bulk email campaigns different?

Unlike System emails, Bulk emails are drafted and sent to a group of your choice. They are not auto-triggered. Bulk emails can be customized and scheduled to be sent anytime. The admins have complete control
