You can send a test email to your own email account before sending it out to your actual audience. This will help you iron out any kinks in the message and ensure that the content that reaches your alumni is the content you intend.

To do this, hit the Send Test Email button in the email editor.

You can select any arbitrary audience. Regardless of what audience you select here, the Test Email will go out only to the chosen Sender's email address.
You can also edit who it goes to - 

This email will be prefixed with [Admin Test] on the subject line.
