Do I have to create a list every time I want to pull records from RENXT?

  1. To pull a single record from RENXT, you don't need to create a list.

  2. Go to the "Review" tab in the sync settings.

  3. Select the "Select Record" button.

  4. Search for the user by name or use their system record ID to find the exact record.

  5. Once you load the sample data, the profile is automatically added to Almabase and can be found on Data Studio.

What permissions are required for Constituent Sync?

  • For Constituent Sync, Environment Admin Access and Security Groups permissions are necessary.

  • Full Rights or View Only permissions in Security Groups are needed.

  • Refer to the provided article for guidance on granting Environment Admin Access and Security Group permissions.

How does Almabase handle potential duplicate entries from multiple lists?

  • When uploading email lists, Almabase checks for existing profiles using the provided email.

  • If a profile already exists, no new record is created for that email.

  • Therefore, a constituent appearing in multiple lists won't result in multiple records on Almabase.

Why can't I see my list from RE 7/Database view in Almabase for importing constituents?

  • Almabase only shows lists from RE NXT or Web View.

  • If you created a list in RE 7 or Database view, follow these steps to move it to Web view:

    1. Ensure the list has the correct type (Constituent) and format (Static).

    2. In RE NXT, go to "Lists" → "Constituents" → "Start with a Static query" and find your list.

    3. Save the list as a new one in RE NXT with the "Others can manage" option selected.

  • After saving it on RE NXT, the list should appear on Almabase.

How can I ensure the correct number of constituents reflects on Almabase when making changes to a list in RE?

  • When making changes to a list on RE, always save the list after any modifications.

  • Once the list is saved, Almabase will accurately reflect the number of records on the list.

How can I view the guidelines set for our organization under Sync Rules in the Set Guidelines section?

  • If the Set Guidelines page appears blank, it may indicate no guidelines are currently set, even if they were configured before.

  • Remember that Set Guidelines are global sync rules and are one-directional.

  • These guidelines provide a framework for setting up sync rules but cannot be derived from individual sync rules, which may vary for each field.
